Jeanette Skelton has over 10 years experience in organizing both large and small scale events in both Australasia and Asia. After moving to Phuket in April 2005 she saw a gap in the market for wedding planning and luxury corporate events and a year later she formed "Luxury Events Phuket".
Previously Jeanette was based in Hong Kong and was instrumental in setting up Alibi, one of the territory’s hippest bar/restaurants; prior to that she worked as the Marketing and Public Relations Director for BB's Bar & Brasserie also in Hong Kong. She also worked as a Special Events Director for the cutting-edge 97 Group of restaurants in the territory and has used her unique skill set for philanthropic causes, having worked as the Events Director for the Society for Aids Care. In the early 90's, she ran her own events company out of Sydney making several donations to the gay community.
